Vera van der Meij - Vera was born in Leiden, the
Netherlands. She recently graduated from the
University of Amsterdam earning a BA in Art
History. Vera
decided to add some excitement to her life by moving to London to
pursue a Master's degree in Contemporary Art
at Sotheby's Institute of Art.
Robert Brett Goodwin – Brett was born in
Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up in Kansas City. He majored
in business at Vanderbilt University and spent a year working at an
important international investment bank in London. After a
year at the bank, Brett realized he had taken the wrong path, quit, and
went back to school. He is now a Contemporary Art MA Student
at the Sotheby’s Institute.
George O'Dell – George was born in
Connecticut, and is currently
living in
London. George has a diverse work background which includes
investment banking and curatorial work at The Museum of the City of New
York, in Manhattan. George holds a B.A. from the Colorado College and
is finishing an MA at The Sotheby’s Art Institute in London.
Emily Eichhorn-Nye - Emily was born in 1981 in
Connecticut,
United States of America. She has spent her life living between the
United States of America and the United Kingdom. She trained, as a
painter, at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
Emily graduated in 2005, receiving two prizes, the James O. Dumont
Prize for creative originality and the Charles Toppan Prize for
drawing. She is currently a Masters student at Sotheby’s
Institute of Art in London.
Patricia Jorro Gómez-Múgica
– Patricia was born in Madrid, Spain. She moved to the United
States to Major in Communications at Emerson College in Boston. She
moved back to Madrid where she has been working in marketing for the
last six years. She moved to London in 2006; realizing her
interests were taking her in a different direction, she decided to go
back to school. She is
now enrolled in the Contemporary Art MA at the Sotheby’s
institute in London.
